About the project
Laundrapp offered on-demand laundry and dry cleaning in the United Kingdom, with collection and delivery of clothes. The customer app handled ordering and tracking. The courier app managed orders and routes, and shared location during journeys. It had to fit field operations and the company’s Android devices.
From March 2015 to March 2016, I was a Senior Android Developer at Laundrapp in London. I developed and maintained the customer app, distributed on Google Play and the Amazon Appstore. I also designed and built the courier app from scratch, with order handling, routes and location tracking.
I worked on analytics, crash reporting, feature flags and automated builds. With the operations teams, I helped manage the device fleet, particularly Android control tools and NFC provisioning.
