About the project
OOTI is management software for architecture firms. Its mobile app lets users track projects and record time or expenses away from the office. They can also access supporting documents, invoices and approvals. The data supports project management and profitability tracking.
From June 2022 to January 2023, I worked as a Senior Mobile Developer to take over and rebuild the iOS and Android apps. I set up the React Native and TypeScript architecture, navigation and components. I then built the project, time, expense, invoice and approval screens, connected to a REST API. Business data was stored locally and synchronised with that API.
I also worked on authentication, permissions and attaching supporting documents. For mobile releases, I used Fastlane and Bitrise in the continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
